ok I have more info on the CX I was thinking of getting. leather seats automatic (I didn't know that till I got there) same engine as the dx although the engine bay looks smaller (could my eyes be decieving me?) umm thats about it ohh and no tach on the custer I'll have to add one. anyways if anyone has more information about the CX I'd like to hear more about it.

I have a 1990 CX. The engine/engine bay is the same as the DX. It comes stock with vinyl seats... but I've had several people ask me if they are leather. I'm 100% sure they are not leather. Just shiny grey vinyl with little holes in it. But maybe your's had leather added.

Which is the better model, the CX or DX? and whats the diff? You guys are talking about leather seats, are those factory? In mine I just have a crappy cloth which I hope to redo in white vinyl soon enough

hello Again,

after taking a second look at the seats (more carefully this time) I'm sure they are leather must have been re-done or something, anywasy I talked to my uncle (a honda Mechanic since honda came to canada with their cars) he says the only difference between the dx and cx is the cx doesn't have the rear window washer blade... I guess that sorted it out for me

No Canadian 4th Gen civic came with Leather, only vinyl, and it's horrible, why would anyone ever want to redo their int in vinyl. Drive a day in someone's car with vinyl seats in the hot summer or cold winter and you'll understand why.
